About me
I am a professional artist and qualified teacher with decades of experience. Since 2020 I have been creating courses and teaching worldwide from my studio in the UK.
In the spring of 2020 I was in my studio in Spain creating pieces for an exhibition and working on my MA. I was looking forward to running my usual summer workshops back in the UK. When the pandemic hit we got the last flight out of Spain. It was clear my workshops would not be running so to help my students, and keep myself busy, I started a YouTube channel with a weekly series of two lessons. Within a week my following had grown from a few to a few thousand, and four years later over 5000 students worldwide have enrolled on my courses.
I often say I spent two years uploading my head to video. There is a lot of depth in in my courses, accrued over many years of teaching, experimenting and learning. It has been a joy to be able to share it with so many of you. I am still making short courses, but the bulk of my time is now spent ensuring my students are happy, creating and learning. I have also finally completed my MA and am enjoying creating new work in my studio.
