CONCERTINA COLLABORATION 2024

Welcome to the 2024 CONCERTINA COLLABORATION online exhibition

The artists exhibiting belong to my Print & Paper Forum as they have taken printmaking, book art and/or collage courses with me. Each artist was paired with another, they each created a simple concertina book of folded paper that they added to before posting it to their partner.

These books travelled to and fro between the artists up to 6 times., many of the participants posted photographs of their books at each stage. What you see here are the final books, we hope you enjoy them!

Here you will find work from this year’s artists;

“Our styles were quite different and every exchange brought new ideas and a fresh challenge. The original concertina has had a varied evolution, finally morphing into a 3D cube. Thank you, Beverley, for introducing numerals, asemic writing and bold colours all of which featured large in the final construction. This has been a really fun collaboration – thank you Sally for making it happen.” Wendy
